Meaty Potato Skins

We hacked your favorite appetizer! Use your favorite potato skins recipe and add our meat and cheese combos as the filling!


  • 4 potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into 8 pieces
  • 4 sticks each of your favorite Frigo® Cheese Heads® Snacking Combos
  • 1 green onion, sliced


  1. Preheat the broiler.
  2. Using a fork, prick the potatoes all over. Microwave them until they’re soft, 5–7 minutes. Cut them in half and scoop out the centers, leaving about a ½ inch of potato flesh in each half. Place one piece of butter into each potato skin half. Then, place them on a broiler pan and broil for 2 minutes. Brush the melted butter over all of the flesh and broil for 2 more minutes.
  3. While the potatoes are in the oven, cut up 4 meat sticks and 4 cheese sticks.
  4. Carefully remove the pan from the oven and fill each potato with equal portions of both the meat and cheese.
  5. Return them to the oven and broil them for 2–6 minutes, watching for the cheese to melt.
  6. Sprinkle the potato skins with the green onions and serve.
