Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.
Then, place 3 kernels into the pan and cover. When they pop, add the remaining kernels in a single layer. Cover and remove from heat for 30 seconds. Then, return the pan to the heat and gently shake it until the kernels pop. When the popping slows to several seconds between pops, remove the pan from the heat and immediately dump the popcorn into a large bowl. Sprinkle with BBQ salt while tossing.
Add the remaining ingredients and toss to combine.
